Baye Cheikh Mamour Insa Diop a su inculquer \u00e0 ses disciples un grand d\u00e9vouement pour le rayonnement de l\u2019Islam.Cheikh Mamour Insa DIOP est un natif de Kaolack. Son p\u00e8re Insa Sa\u00ebr DIOP fut maire de cette ville pendant 20 ans (de 1962 \u00e0 1982). Sa m\u00e8re, Nd\u00e8ye Mari\u00e8me Sall est la premi\u00e8re enseignante de ladite ville. Il y grandit paisiblement et fit ses \u00e9tudes qu\u2019il continua \u00e0 Kaolack. Malgr\u00e9 son jeune \u00e2ge, il se lia d\u2019amiti\u00e9 avec la plupart des compagnons de Mawlana Cheikh Ibrahim Niass (RA).
